The Cove-Lit Apartment, Guéliz

About this place

Every room, the open living/dining/kitchen run, the twin bedroom, even the spa-style grey-marble bathroom, is trimmed in the same continuous warm-amber cove lighting recessed into the ceiling edge, giving the whole apartment one consistent, calm, hotel-lobby glow. The palette is deliberately restrained: taupe sofa, warm wood-veneer cabinetry, and white marble floors, a quiet, well-lit modern base in Marrakech's upscale Guéliz district.
